There are countless examples of designs in nature, both in the plant or animal kingdom, that help discredit the absurd idea that every thing somehow formed randomly with no designer.  This section includes a handful of them.  Evolutionists argue against this, saying that “step by step” evolution is possible to account for any natural mechanism, no matter how complex.  They like to use gradual steps, because then you just have to believe a sequence of smaller, more believable lies.  To that I would point out the following:

1) Animals don’t have the intelligence nor the ability to give new, beneficial capabilities to it’s offspring, no matter how gradual.  To suggest that a parents living conditions or willpower could somehow add complex mechanisms to their offspring is ridiculous and completely unprovable.

2) Never before has any animal given birth to something with genetic information that has not                 already been present in its species.

3) Natural selection has never added genetic information or capabilities to a species of animal or plant that were not already present in the species.

With that in mind, here are examples of design in nature.

One such example would be the Silver Maple tree.  It’s seeds, like the ones pictured above, are encased in a leaf-like shell that is shaped like a helicopter blade.  This design causes the seeds to rapidly spin like a descending helicopter, which greatly slows their descent speed, and causes them to disperse much farther away from the tree than they otherwise could.

How did these propeller-shaped seeds form?  The encasement is much larger than the actual seeds; the tree uses extra resources to produce them when it could just be making plain, simple seeds.  Did the tree somehow come to understand aerodynamics, and will itself to produce seeds that could descend slowly away from the branches?  Did the seeds somehow detect that they were falling, and decide that it would be beneficial to form a shell that would let them descend gently like a helicopter landing, and over generations of trees they formed propellers?  Of course not, those ideas are impossible and ridiculous, although if you are an evolutionist you have to believe them.  The tree does not have the intelligence to know that a helicopter shape would benefit seed dispersion, nor does it have the capability to will itself to create such structures if it wasn’t already an existing trait.  There is no external or internal force acting upon the tree that would somehow cause this seed casing to take shape, which is why any intelligent, open-minded person would realize that these fascinating aspects of nature were designed.
